What Customers Say About Invol2ver:

It's a solid but also risk-free compilation, perhaps because it is part of the Global Underground series. The amazing thing hearing Sasha spin live about a year and a half ago was that in the course of a four-hour period, every track he played added new musical elements to the mix, so it keeps getting better and better and better. This album left me with an opposite impression.

little details reveal themselves each time i put it on and i've listened to it 30x. not to the distraction of anything else but for the benefit of exploring.

the heart of the mix (the tracks by apparat, home video, and ladytron [and what a track that one is].) is dark and techy and lush.the only reason this isn't a 5 is that the mix lacks a punch that the first one had. i think he's taking even more of a cue from the ambient canon than before and i like the results.

the first involver was more up my alley style-wise but this one is growing on me the more i listen to it. this mix is packed with subtleties.

it's not as deeply exciting but as i've said above, it's more intricate. as with all of the really good quality mix recordings out there, there's way more than meets the ear on the first listen.

it's more rhythmically simple than some of the progressive house mixes i like more but i think that simplicity allows a relaxation of the mind to explore the deeper sonic landscape he's creating here.

It just a trip into your senses. My favorite CD. Taking you to another place.

The tracks flow quite nicely into each other, creating a nice even flow of anticipation, and excitement. There is certainly nothing is wrong with that. Invol2ver - What a unique blend of trance music. None of the music presented here is practically hard hitting, but gives the listener more of a open spacey feel. I rate it four stars. I happened to really like this cd. DJ Sasha certainly uses his craft in the mixing of a interesting blend of ambient, machine, and human aspects into this music.

For one, if ANYONE told me they could meld The Eraser by Thom Yorke into an electronic background and make it work, I would have snorted my drink. It's not just about adding beats and prepping something for the dance floor- he;s a master at adding atmosphere, complexity and bringing out an emotional quality to the music- whether it's his own creation or a remix. This is one of those albums you slap on your headphones and listen from beginning to end, let the music drift over you and take you into another world.

If you like Sasha, my other favorite artist in a similar genre is Trentemoller. Another album I really like from Sasha is Airdrawndagger.

My friend introduced me to Sasha, and I was hooked immediately. I admit, I enjoy Sasha's version on this album far more than any other version I've heard of this amazingly lovely song. What one thing Sasha excels at is to create dimension to music.

Give his Last Resort a good listen- that's also a gem. I really enjoy the subtleties that you find in his work- and all of his work is definitely worth a listen on headphones, because you miss the details otherwise.I know a lot of the original versions of the songs on this album, and I have to say that Sasha really added a dimension to all of them.

Sasha does exactly that with finesse and aplomb- the blending of Colours into the Eraser is seamless, just like I really enjoy the intro slowly crawling to the dreamy "You Are The Worst Thing In The World"Another notable track on this album is Apparat's Arcadia.
